Inner Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Inner mobile application (the "App") provided by Molcode SRL ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. App Description

Inner is a privacy tool that allows you to:

• Hide photos, contacts, notes, and files inside ordinary images
• Protect hidden data with encryption
• Add an optional passphrase for additional security
• Extract hidden data from images created with Inner

The App operates entirely on your device without cloud storage or account requirements. All processing happens locally on your phone.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to use the App to:

• Hide, store, or transmit illegal content or content that violates others' rights
• Circumvent lawful investigations, subpoenas, or court orders
• Distribute malware, viruses, or engage in harmful activities
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Facilitate fraud, identity theft, or other criminal activity

You are solely responsible for the content you choose to hide and the legality of your use in your jurisdiction. We have no knowledge of or control over the content you protect.

5. Passphrase Responsibility

Important: You are solely responsible for remembering your passphrase. We cannot:

• Access your passphrase
• Reset your passphrase
• Recover data protected by a forgotten passphrase
• Decrypt your hidden data under any circumstances

Data protected by a forgotten passphrase is permanently inaccessible. There is no recovery mechanism by design. This ensures your privacy but also means you must safeguard your passphrase.

6. Technical Considerations

You acknowledge the following:

• Image quality matters: Higher resolution images work better for storing data
• Image format: Save encoded images in a lossless format (like PNG) to preserve data
• Handle with care: Editing, compressing, or filtering encoded images may affect hidden data
• No guarantees: We do not guarantee that hidden data will be undetectable in all circumstances

We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements or that hidden data will remain intact under all circumstances.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium features are available via in-app purchase through the Apple App Store:

• Monthly subscription (auto-renewing)
• Yearly subscription (auto-renewing)
• Lifetime purchase (one-time)

Current prices are displayed in the App. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their App Store policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, algorithms, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Molcode SRL or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to extract source code or underlying algorithms
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

Images you create with your own content remain yours.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services for subscription management, analytics, and distribution through the Apple App Store.

Your use of these services may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Hidden data will be undetectable
• Protection will be unbreakable
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Hidden data will remain intact under all circumstances

You use the App at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Loss of data due to forgotten passphrases
• Detection of hidden content by third parties
• Corruption of hidden data due to image processing
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
• Damages arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Molcode SRL and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the App
• Content you choose to hide or protect
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App at any time for any reason, including if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App ends
• Images you created continue to function independently
• Subscriptions should be canceled separately via iOS Settings

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the App and on our website with a revised "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the App will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may benefit from mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

18. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Molcode SRL regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

20. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
