This Privacy Policy explains how Molcode SRL ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Inner mobile application (the "App"). Inner is a privacy tool designed to keep your personal data protected and private.

Our Privacy Philosophy

Inner is designed to protect your privacy, not collect your data. The App operates entirely on your device without accounts or cloud storage. We built Inner with privacy by design principles.

Scope

This Policy applies to the App and its features. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from the App.

What We DO NOT Collect

The following data is processed exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Your hidden content: Photos, contacts, notes, and files you protect are processed entirely on your device and never transmitted anywhere.
• Your passphrases: We cannot access, recover, or reset your passphrases. They exist only on your device during your session.
• Your images: Images you use remain on your device.
• Account information: Inner does not require accounts. We do not collect emails, names, or personal identifiers.

What We Collect

Device Identifier

A randomly generated identifier is stored securely in your iOS Keychain. This identifier:

• Is used solely to manage subscription status
• Is not linked to any personal information
• Is synchronized via iCloud Keychain for your convenience across devices

Analytics

We collect anonymized operational metadata to improve the App:

• App opens and screen views
• Feature usage patterns (not your content)
• Error events and crash reports (error descriptions, not your data)
• Device type and iOS version

Important: We do NOT collect the content of your data, filenames, passphrase presence, images, or any protected content.

Attribution

With your consent, we collect:

• Install attribution to understand marketing effectiveness
• Anonymized install source data
• Campaign and ad performance metrics

You can opt out via iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Subscription Management

For premium feature management:

• Subscription status and entitlement verification
• Transaction identifiers from Apple
• Anonymous device identifier

We do not receive or store payment details. These are handled entirely by Apple.

Permissions Requested

The App may request the following permissions, all used locally:

• Camera: Capture photos to use as cover images. Never uploaded.
• Photo Library: Select images and save results. Never uploaded.
• Contacts: Select contacts to protect. Never uploaded.

We only use permissions locally. No cloud uploads.

Data Storage

• All operations occur on your device
• Protected data is stored only within images you control
• Temporary files created during processing are deleted immediately after operations
• No cloud backup of hidden content occurs through the App

Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of services to operate the App:

• Subscription services: To manage premium features. Only anonymous identifiers are shared.
• Analytics services: To improve the App. Only anonymous usage data and crash reports are collected.
• Attribution services: With your consent, to understand how users find us.
• Apple App Store: For purchases and distribution, handled entirely by Apple.

These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and use it only as instructed.

International Data Transfers

Analytics and subscription data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Your Rights and Choices

• Deletion: Uninstall the App to remove all local data including your device identifier
• Subscription Management: Cancel subscriptions via iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• Analytics Opt-Out: Disable in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements
• Tracking Opt-Out: Respond to the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt or manage in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Access and Portability: Contact us at legal@useinner.app to request information about data we process

Passphrase Responsibility

Important: We cannot recover your passphrase. If you forget a passphrase used to protect hidden data, that data is permanently inaccessible. This is by design for your security and privacy.

Children's Privacy

Inner is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Security

Inner uses strong, industry-standard protection to keep your data safe:

• All hidden data is protected with encryption
• Optional passphrase adds personal protection
• All processing occurs on your device with no network transmission of your private data

Data Retention

We retain analytics data for improvement purposes. You can request deletion of any identifiable data by contacting us. Upon App deletion, all local data is removed.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App and on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
